Resolution Martine and Ben race onto a ship filled with exotic animals, where they think the White Giraffe is being held. They race down the many staircases trying to find Jemmy before the ship takes off for a faraway place. They get down to the last level where a bunch of animal cages are. Since Martine's grandma knows how important Jemmy is to Martine, she drives her. On her way to the ship that she thinks Jemmy is on, she meets Ben, who helps her find Jemmy. Ben’s dad owns a boat. But Ben can only go so far, so he gives Martine directions, and she finds Jemmy underground with a bunch of other hurt animals. She wants to save the other animals, but she knows that she can only save Jemmy. So, she rides Jemmy through-out town, and to her grandma's house, where they're both finally safe. MMC

This happens to the main character Martine when a clique at her school turns on her and avoids her, hurting her feelings, and her heart. Another form of bullying in this story is poaching. In this story poachers harm animals and endanger their species. Poaching is a cruel and harmful way to destroy the breathing living things we call our animals. We should never even think about hurting our loving animals, because they do so much for us that we don’t even realize. We should treat them well.
